Speechless Sunday – Romp Bomp A Chomp
I am a self-admitted lazy photographer of my children. Sure, I have professional pictures taken of them at least once per year. Twice if you include Santa but it is the everyday pictures that...
I have had this Groupon for pony rides for the kids for almost a year. They have been dying to take lessons so I thought a pony ride would be a good place to start. I really had no idea how much they would love it.
Before they ride, they have to brush their pony.
She was not at all too sure at first. In fact, she was downright terrified. We thought that she would get right off. But the amazing trainers worked with her.
My middle child was next. She is the one who has been begging for lessons.
Next, they brought out the big guy:
She was not too sure about the bigger horse:
My youngest was thrilled to get on the bigger horse. She looks so little.
Of course you have to tip your pony! Good thing we brought carrots:
This guy wanted more tips:
This girl (named Tootsie Roll) just wanted to nuzzle the kids.
It was a good day!
I highly recommend taking lessons from Trip at Fruition Farm here in Atlanta (or Palmetto and Smyrna to be exact). Give them a call but make certain that you get Trip. He gives lessons and really was just born to work with horses and kids. 404-512-0834

How cute is that! You definitely win for best Groupon purchase ever!
Oh how fun! Those are some gorgeous horses! My daughter loves taking a few lessons in the summertime.
Awesome pics! My middle daughter loves horses and begs to take riding lessons, but there’s no where around here to do it. You would think being an hour from Lexington there would be riding stables all over the place, but there are none to be found!
That is a rad Groupon!!!!!
These are some brave kids — I don’t think I’d have had the guts to ride when I was their age! Thanks for sharing these — hope your WW goes trotting along smoothly.
It looks like they had a blast! And how fun to be able to brush the horses too. π
Looks like you had a fabulous time! New Follower π

My Girl LOVES horses (an ponies by default) but it’s hard to find places that are close enough… this does remind me I have a groupon… must dig it out!
We are so signing up to do that! How fun.
Happy SITS day! Now I want to ride a pony!

I love Groupon and WagJag deals b/c you can find activities that you wouldn’t normally try!
Looks Like they had such a fun time.. Such a great idea my daughter is obsessed with horses lately. I see me doing this in the very near future.
what a fun outing!
My kids wouldn’t get near a horse or pony. That looks fun.
What a great experience for all 3 of them!
Wow, I see an expensive future for your kiddos lol. I bet they won’t forget how much fun they had!
What a fun way to spend the day!
So fun – That’s what we did for my youngest’s bday party last week-end and it was great. The kids all loved it! Great pictures!
WOW, they look like they had such a great time. I used to love riding horses before I hurt my back and had surgery – I miss it so much.
I hope they get to ride again some day, you’re a great mom.
What an awesome groupon. Too cute!!!
How fun. I used to love horse back riding when I was young!
My daughter LOVES horses. It looks like you had a great riding lesson – I love how they let the kids groom them, lead them, the whole shi-bang. I’m sure they had a blast!
Looks like they had a wonderful time! Seeing those pictures make me miss my horses.
That looks like so much fun!
That’s a great Groupon! and I love how they have the kids brush the horses first!
It looks like your kids had a great time riding! I am glad to see them wearing the proper safety helmets. I am surprised however, that the stable had them ride bareback like that, especially for a first time ride. That can seem more intimidating to someone not used to being around a horse, or riding one.
