Ingredients & Supplies
Directions
- Line your baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- If you have a melting pot, you can use it to heat one of the chocolates and melt the other using a microwave or double boiler on the stove.
- Add ¾ cup of chopped hazelnuts to the melted milk chocolate and mix in. If you want your bark to have a peppermint flavor, mix in the mint extract now.
- Pour melted milk chocolate, with hazelnuts mixed in, out onto the parchment paper. Use a spatula to spread out the chocolate. Immediately pour melted white chocolate over the top of the milk chocolate in straight lines.
- Use a butter knife to mix white chocolate into the milk chocolate in circular motions. Doing this in circles will create the marbled effect that you are going for.
- Sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup of crushed hazelnuts over the top of the bark so that it hardens into the chocolate. Place baking sheet in the fridge for 1 hour until it has completely hardened.
- Break hazelnut bark into large pieces and put out to enjoy. Bark can last for up to one week in an airtight container.
