Imagine that you’re in the middle of nowhere and you forgot your birth control pills at home, what do you do? Millions of women forget to take their birth control pills or they may fail to bring it with them or their regular birth control method fails, like a condom breaks. There is something I’ve found that may help you, just as much as the information has helped me. Introducing Plan B One-Step. If you aren’t familiar with what this product is used for, let me show you. We hope that you enjoy this What You Need to Know about Plan B One-Step post.
I think one of the most important things of Plan B One-Step is that it’s easy to access. You can walk into a retail store and purchase it right on the shelf. You don’t need an ID. You don’t need a prescription and there is no age restriction. For women who need to help prevent a pregnancy before it begins, Plan B One-Step may be for you.
Let’s say you find yourself forgetting your birth control pills or a condom breaks. What do you do? The makers of Plan B One-Step want you to know that you have options. If you can’t find it in the aisle, you can ask the pharmacist if they have it behind the counter. You can even get a coupon and a mobile rebate, both are available at www.PlanBOneStep.com.
Just know that Plan B One-Step is something millions of women take every year. Remember that this is not meant to be your regular birth control method. “Plan B One-Step should be taken within 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected sex or birth control failure. The sooner it is taken, the better it works. It is a backup method to help prevent pregnancy and isn’t meant to be used as routine contraception.”
There have been a few times I have forgotten my birth control pills and could not just run home to get it and things happen…when you’re on the go and can’t just pick up the phone. Plan B One-Step is a good option. I love that you can just walk into any major retailer.
I wanted to see what it would be like to purchase Plan B. I walked into our local CVS and walked right up to the pharmacy counter and asked. I didn’t get any funny looks. They knew what I was talking about and it was easy to purchase the product. Hey, sometimes things happen. Condoms break, birth control gets missed, and Plan B – One Step is a back-up solution. Unintended pregnancy is a serious matter and it’s important to have the right info in case it happens that you need the Plan B to help prevent such a pregnancy. We hope that you enjoyed this What You Need to Know about Plan B One-Step post.

That’s pretty awesome that products like this exist. It’s really awesome that your CVS cashier didn’t give you any funny looks, too 🙂
I don’t have an uterus, so I don’t have to worry about it, but I will share it with a friend!
Super important to have different options. Everyone is not the same and won’t tolerate the same way.
