As I have made clear before, I absolutely LOVE the brand Wet n Wild! Highlighting has become a huge craze in the makeup world over the past couple years. It’s become a huge trend to have a “blinding” highlight as it is referred to in the beauty community and it seems that every brand out there has a ton of highlighters to choose from. I personally have two highlighters from Wet n Wild and I wanted to share my thoughts with all of you because as well all know, I’m a bargain hunter and I can find high quality products at an affordable cost, I am all about that. So the two highlighters I have are Purple Ashes and Blossom Glow.

Purple Ashes is from the Limited Edition Gothic collection so it is imprinted with a skull shape in the product itself and it is a beautiful purple shade. When I first saw the product itself I was a little bit considered because in the pan the highlighter looks very glittery and doesn’t look like it would work well as a highlighter. However, when I actually used the product on my skin I was absolutely blown away. It does have a little bit of glitter in it but it is actually really gorgeous and gives off a beautiful purple glow. I think this product is great not only a highlight but also as a really beautiful eyeshadow as well.

Blossom Glow is a color that is the permanent highlighter collection and it is a pearlescent rose color. This one is probably my all time favorite highlighter that I love to use on a regular basis from day to day. I just personally love pink toned products to use on my skin as well as my eyes and I think it ties in a makeup look perfectly.

Overall the highlighters are absolutely amazing but I do have a couple minor complaints about the products as well. First, I’m not a big fan of the packaging for these products because I have a thing for products that don’t open back all the way, I know it is silly but it’s just inconvenient in my opinion, LOL and the only other complaint is the smell of these products, I mean don’t get me wrong it’s not a really terrible smell and it’s not very overwhelming or anything either it’s just not an overly pleasant smell. Of course these minor dislikes are far weighed out by all the amazing positive things these products offer.

If you are looking for some really great highlighters but you don’t want to break the bank I would really recommend picking up the Wet n Wild highlighters, they have several photos to choose from and there is definitely something for everyone.
