Candy Corn Turnovers
Candy Corn Turnovers This easy and festive fall treat is perfect for your next get together or fall party.Β When it comes to candy, there isnβt much that says fall more than candy corn!...
Halloween is one of my absolute favorite times of the year. I love everything about it. Celebrations are in the planning stages and will be happening soon almost everywhere in the United States. This year we came prepared with some really fun Halloween recipes that would also be perfect for dessert. I used my all-time favorite candy bar ever, Snickers (for this Snickers cupcake recipe), and Hawaiian Punch to satisfy all of the party-going ghouls. The results were just amazing. The partygoers ate and drank it all. We hope that these Halloween Spider Crunchy Snickers Cupcakes inspire you.
This treat is one of my son's favorite things to bring to parties. He asks me every year to make them for him complete with spider rings. I make chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. Just before pouring the batter into cupcake liners, I add about 10 mini Snickers into the mix. To prep the Snickers, I freeze them, put them in a Ziploc, cover them with paper towels, place them on a cutting board, and crush them with a meat tenderizer. Then I bake as usual. The Snickers add a little crunch and a lot of gooeyness.
I also add a little extra cream cheese to the frosting so that it becomes a little stickier and thicker. Once they are frosted, I use another 10 mini Snickers bars prepared the same way above. I dip each cupcake into the Snickers and press. Once I turn the cupcakes over, I press the Snickers into them slightly so they stay put. Garnish with a spider ring and they are done.
Add three small scoops of raspberry sorbet, fill the glass about 2/3 full of Hawaiian Punch, top with a spider ring or any other garnish of your choice and they are ready to serve.
We hope that this Halloween Spider Crunchy Snickers Cupcakes recipe post inspires you. Don't miss those Hawaiian Punch Vampire Blood Floats. Happy Halloween!
