I've said it before, and I'll say it again…Mascara is probably my favorite makeup product there is out there! Mascara is my go to, must have product! If I don't have time to put on a full face of makeup, I absolutely HAVE to put on mascara! I think mascara is a really great product because it can be applied alone for a very simple look, or you can wear it with a completely done up eye look and make it look even more amazing. . I've never tried a mascara from Rimmel before in the past, so I really really wanted to try this one! I absolutely love the Rimmel Lipsticks in the Kate Line! I was really hoping to love the Kate Mascara as well!

So usually when I'm shopping for a new mascara, I tend to gravitate towards the fatter, round shaped mascaras. I'm not exactly sure what about them, but they just always seem to be the one that I grab for! I think it may be because in my mind I think since the tube is bigger, it's going to give me more volume in my lashes! This one in particular stood out to me because of the tube itself! It is a beautiful Charcoal Gray Metallic tube with the signature Red Kate signature. I thought it was really pretty and I knew I had to own it! I picked this up for $6.99 and with a $1.00 off coupon, it made it only $5.99! Which is definitely a steal and made me want this mascara even more!I picked up my mascara in the shade Jet Black, I love a dark mascara! I don't know about you all, but brown mascara is just not for me…the darker the better in my opinion! When I first twisted off that cap and opened up this mascara, I was a bit concerned…the brush scared me a bit! I had never seen a brush like this, it was formed in almost a wave pattern, in a nice curve! It also has a bunch of bristles very close together and I was honestly a bit frightened to use it! LOL But I thought I would give it a shot anyways…I am so happy I did!
I feel like I've gotten really lucky with mascaras from the drugstore, every one I choose I say is my new favorite drugstore mascara. Well, this one really is my new favorite! I think that this mascara gives my lashes just the right balance of volume and length, but without making my lashes clumpy. I will definitely be keeping this one in my collection and I am very pleased with my very first Rimmel Mascara. Maybe I'll try some more! With that being said, I think you should all go and pick this mascara up, it really is a great one and if you're looking for a new favorite…I think you will really be very happy with this one!
I am going to have to try out this mascara. I use Rimmel cosmetics and think they are a great deal and do not cost a lot of money.
