New Year Health Tips Wellness Resolutions
Well, here we are nearing the end of another year. Isn't it crazy how quickly time flies by? I know this year especially has gone by so quickly for me. It is very common to create resolutions or goals for yourself to achieve within the upcoming year. One of the most common resolutions that people choose is to live a healthier lifestyle, or to lose weight, something along these lines. This is not only one of the most commonly chosen resolutions but also one of the most common broken resolutions because people feel as though their appetite is restricted or that they have to be living on this strict diet. It's not always easy to make new year's resolutions stick yet every year we still try. I hope that this New Year Health Tips Wellness Resolutions post inspires you.

Water
I cannot express this to you enough. Water is an extremely important part of your diet and you can honestly never have too much of it. I've always heard growing up that it is recommended to drink 8 glasses of water per day, now I hear quite often that it is recommended to take your body weight and cut it in half and drink that much water in ounces per day. For example, if someone weighs 100 lbs they should drink 50 ounces of water per day. Water is a great way to flush your body of any toxins and it has so many benefits. The weight will begin falling off if you begin to drink more water, your skin will look healthier and have a beautiful glow, and you will honestly feel better.

Eat More Veggies
I have been one to thoroughly enjoy some unhealthy comfort foods such as mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, french fries, you name it…I love it. These aren't very healthy options for my body and that is why I realized that I needed to change these habits. If you find yourself eating a lot of heavy and fried side dishes, try swapping it out for some fresh veggies. Perhaps you want some potato chips for a snack, try eating some carrots or celery instead. This gives you that same crunchy texture, but with amazing foods that are good for your health.

Get Active
It is crazy this day in age that kids are all cooped up in the house playing video games and watching TV, when I was a kid it was all about playing outside with the neighbor kids and having a blast. So take it back to your childhood days get outside and be active! You would be highly surprised at what a little bit of regular activity will do for your body. Try swapping out watching an hour-long TV show for an hour of going outdoors for a walk and enjoying nature.

Do It With a Friend
Staying committed to a healthy lifestyle can be difficult on your own. This is why I would recommend finding a friend or family member to commit to that lifestyle with you and this way you can keep each other accountable. The last thing you would want to do is to get started on this healthy commitment and then just give it all up for a burger and fries, right?
So if you plan to make getting in shape and healthy a New Year's Resolution this year, be sure to stick with it. Make certain to keep those new year's resolutions attainable. You would be shocked at how amazing you feel and how much better your life is by simply making healthier choices for your everyday life. I hope that this New Year Health Tips Wellness Resolutions post inspires you. Happy New Year, All!
