Best Way to Organize a Closet
Best Way to Organize a Closet Do you know how to organize your closet? Do you know the best way to organize clothes in closet? You can get the maximum amount of storage space...
I am an avid user of bleach. I use it constantly when it comes to doing laundry for my large family. I like our clothes to be clean (check out my before and after pictures of my son's favorite white shirt above) and Clorox gives me peace of mind as well as incredibly white whites.
Did you know that there are many uses bleach besides just doing your laundry?
If you have boys and/or little athletes then you might have noticed that things (especially sports equipment) tend to get dirty and dare I say a little smelly? My son plays lacrosse and until recently I had no idea that I could disinfect his helmet.
Well there is a way to that. Here is what I do:
First, I prewash the helmet with a little dish soap and warm water. Next, mix ¾ cup Clorox ® Regular-Bleach (or ½ cup Clorox® Concentrated Regular-Bleach) into 1 gallon of water. Wash and let stand for five minutes. Rinse thoroughly and air dry.
Works on many types of sports equipment.
You know that kids and germs just seem to go together right? A little bleach can clean and disinfect those bath toys that get daily use.
Disinfect your bath toys (or your kids') by pre-washing them first. Then mix ¾ cup Clorox® Regular-Bleach (or ½ cup Clorox® Concentrated Regular-Bleach) into 1 gallon of water and wash items. Let them stand for five minutes. Rinse and air dry.
I love using Clorox in the kitchen. Having been in the restaurant industry for my entire working life, I have always used Clorox when it comes to cleaning and disinfecting.
Plastic cutting boards are no exception and since they get a lot of use in my kitchen, they also get sanitized a lot.
To sanitize your plastic cutting boards, prewash thoroughly. Next add 1 tablespoon of Clorox® Regular-Bleach (or 2 teaspoons of Clorox® Concentrated Regular-Bleach) to 1 gallon of water. Soak cutting boards for 2 minutes and then air dry.
Once a month or so the sweet smell of flowers fills my house when my husband surprises me with a new bouquet of my favorite tulips or roses.
Preserve your flowers for longer by adding a 1/4 teaspoon of Clorox® Regular-Bleach (or Clorox® Concentrated Regular-Bleach) to each quart of water in your vases.
Babies and indeed kids get into pretty much everything. Clorox® helps get rid of bacteria in sippy cups and bottles, much more so than regular soap and water.
To sanitize, prewash your item first. Then, add 1 tablespoon of Clorox® Regular-Bleach (or 2 teaspoons of Clorox® Concentrated Regular-Bleach) to 1 gallon of water. Soak for 2 minutes and drain dry.
Now that you know about some other great uses for Clorox® Bleach, I want to share with you how three lucky readers will win some really great prizes.
