Moto X and the Fitbit Flex
I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Sprint. I received product samples to facilitate my review.
Now that the kids are back in school, I am busier than ever. I am the only one who keeps the calendars for our entire family and keeps us all organized. I HAVE to stay organized or things don't get done.
A typical day for me involves carpool with the kids to school, work for a while at home, conference calls and Twitter Parties, carpool with the kids for school pickup, Scouts, gymnastics, swimming lessons, art lessons, soccer and lacrosse. We pretty much have something every single day of the week. The means that if I forget or miss something, my whole day can be affected. Throw one or two birthday parties into the mix and then things really get going for us.
MOTO X
The Moto X smartphone contains a wide range of features along with a 1.7 GHz dual core processor that powers the device for improved navigation speed and multitasking. It runs Android version 4.2.2 Jellybean software, which has enhanced features such as resizeable and moveable widgets and icons, finger swipes and menu animation. The computing system has 2 GB of RAM, which is a hefty amount as compared to the majority of smartphones. A multitude of applications can run in the background on this device without slowing it down plus the opening and closing of applications is faster.
The Moto X has two high quality cameras. The rear camera is a crisp 10MP CLEAR PIXEL camera with LED flash and the front camera is a 2MP camera. Both cameras record in 1080p HD and people will appreciate the 16 GB of internal storage the phone has. 16GB of memory can hold approximately 25 movies, 9,000 pictures or 7,000 songs. A memory card of up to 32 GB can be added to expand the memory.
The Moto X has Bluetooth 4.0, mobile hotspot, and Wi-Fi which means users can connect with wireless headsets for driving or listening to music. Those who need to power the internet for a laptop, desktop or tablet can take advantage of the hotspot featureor use the Wi-Fi to download large files as not to use the phone’s internet services.
The screen is 4.7 inches with a high quality display and those who are looking for a lengthy battery life may be satisfied with the 2,200-mAh battery it comes with. This battery will give the user 13 hours of direct talking time and 24 hours of mixed usage.
The Moto X also has NFC, which allows smartphone users to transfer information to each other by tapping phones. Users can also complete credit card transactions with this feature. Other features of the Moto X include Miracast wireless display, voice activation, global roaming, adjustable text size, TTY, hearing aid compatibility, multiple languages, vibrating alert, data tethering and predictive text entry. The Moto X is rich in capabilities for a wide variety of users. The high-class device leaves little to be desired, because it has all the features that most enthusiasts use.
We have been testing the Moto X smartphone for a while now and we love it! The battery life is what made me want to test it but there are just so many things that I like about it!
The camera takes amazing pictures and the display is crisp & clear.
FITBIT FLEX WIRELESS ACTIVITY & SLEEP WRISTBAND
As a busy mom always on the go, exercise seems to be the last thing that I have time for. With the Fitbit Flex, I am able to track steps, distance and the amount of calories that I burn each day.
The Fitbit Flex also tracks your sleep cycle and helps you learn how to sleep better through the night! We’d love to hear about your experience tracking your number of steps, calories and sleep cycle on-the-go from your personal smart phone or from your Moto X.

Fitbit Flex Wireless Activity + Sleep Wristband Review
The Fitbit Flex is available at Sprint! When purchased at Sprint, you’ll have unlimited data – which makes it convenient to sync your fit bit data on-the-go as often as you want without worrying about overages on your wireless bill.
I love the Fitbit Flex because it keeps my activity top of mind and really drives me to do more.
That wristband sounds RIGHT up my alley. We’re running so much and not sleeping well because Red is in his toddler bed now!
My phone is my calendar, too. I’m constantly checking it and making sure I haven’t forgotten anything!
My phone is my life I would not be able to keep up without it. The calendar is a great and I also love that I can keep up with emails on the go although I hate typing them out on a touch screen. I need that band to help me with my weight loss.
My phone is my life. If I lost my phone, NOTHING would get done. NOTHING I TELL YOU! LOL
I really really want a fitbit! I’m trying to see who is going to buy me one for Christmas!
The battery life of the Moto X sounds really impressive. I find myself having to recharge my phone halfway through the day.
The Fitbit Flex sounds really neat. Though I bet it would tell me I don’t sleep near enough!
I’ve been wanting to get a FitBit Flex – I have the original FitBit. Need the new one! The Moto X smartphone battery life is AMAZING!
I have come to rely on my phone to stay organized. The Fitbit sounds like something I could use in January – post-baby and ready to get in better shape!
The phone is amazing! I love the Google Now function and the Fitbit is fantastic!
my hubby loves the phone. i’m semi obsessed with the fitbit flex tho. LOVE it.
I use my phone/computer as my calendar as well and without it I’d be so lost. That phone looks really great!
I’ve seen this around lately and it looks great!
I find those sleep bands to be so interesting. I’m intrigued to try one.
This phone has some really great specs. I am glad to hear it has good picture quality.
I keep seeing the fit bit popping up everywhere, I think I need to suck it up and grab one!!
It’s time for me to get a new phone. You got me thinking about this. I have to check this out!
I would really like to monitor how active I am at all times. The Fitbit Wireless wristband seems like the perfect device
This seems like such a great combination. I am a big fan of getting my gadgets to work together to make my life better.
