The Looq – Battery-free Extended Selfie Arm with Auto Shutter Button is designed to give smart phone owners a way to take pictures of themselves and others without the use of a traditional camera.
The Looq – Battery-free Extended Selfie Arm with Auto Shutter Button allows people to take pictures with their smart phone while appearing in the pictures. The extension pole stretches the arm out to 24 inches long, allowing for pictures that contain multiple people. The Looq's auto shutter button works with a free application to allow the person holding the arm to both appear in the picture and take the picture at the same time.
The Looq extended selfie arm is designed with the specific purpose of allowing people who wish to take single and group photographs while out and about to do so without asking a stranger to hold their smart phone. The extension feature and shutter button on the Looq's pole are designed to make taking pictures from a distance as simple and hassle free as possible. When not in use, the Looq's pole retracts into the base and a large screw releases the phone for easy storage.
Most people who've tried the Looq report that it works as advertized. Many are impressed with its overall build quality and straightforward design. The Looq is simple to set up, easy to use for taking pictures, and simple to put away when the user is finished.
The Looq – Battery-free Extended Selfie Arm uses a free app to support the auto shutter button. This app supports the Apple iPhone 5 variants, the iPhone 4 variants and the iPhone 3GS and iPod touch 4. The app also supports a variety of modern Android smart phones by Samsung, HTC and Sony.
The Looq battery-free extended selfie arm with auto shutter button is a reasonable option for personal photographs on the go, making it a solid choice for anyone who wants to give their smart phone camera-like functionality.
Looks like it has all the features someone would want from this kind of product but I can’t imagine actually carrying it with me, taking it out to set up, and using it. Maybe I’m just not that into ‘selfies’ to make it worth the trouble!
OK I thought this thing wasnt real at first! I guess because I dont take slefies, I just dont get it. Maybe this would be alright for kids or someone who takes selfies alot, but to me it looks rather complicated to carry and attach it and get it going.
I have lived to see everything. I can’t believe that someone would really need this. I am sure there are some poeple out there that could figure out that it would come in handy. I don’t take a lot of selfies so it’s not something I need. I am sure both my kids could make a great case as to why we need one. 🙂
