Ingredients for the coconut oil lemon sugar scrub benefits

1 small lemon or half of a large one
¼ cup coconut oil, soft enough to work with, does not need to be liquid
¾ cup raw sugar
honey (optional add as needed)

Directions

Using a medium sized bowl, mix together the coconut oil and sugar. I enjoy a drier consistency, but you could certainly use more coconut oil or less sugar and have it be a bit wetter.
Zest the lemon into the mix; you can also optionally add a couple teaspoons of the fresh lemon juice to the mixture.
Should last nicely for about 10 days in the shower or you could pack it tightly into a jar or silicone mold and freeze for later.
TO USE: When you’re ready to use the coconut oil lemon sugar scrub benefits, simply warm and soften the scrub in your hands for a few seconds before gently rubbing in circular motion over your skin.
