IKEA Brighter Lives for Refugees Campaign
IKEA has long been a part of our family. We shop there, we eat there and now we support their efforts to help people worldwide. If you look around our home, you will find...
Now you can join KinderCare for 5 days of fun during Spring Break to get a taste of their Summer Camp. Spring Break camps are a great opportunity for kids to get out and have some fun during a week off of school.
Spring Camps are also an affordable alternative for working parents who do not have the week off like their children.
From the KinderCare site:
Our enthusiastic teachers and fun activities give young learners a chance to dig into the science behind “growing green” and create kids who are excited about the natural world.
At the end of the week, we’ll celebrate the results of campers’ activities and lessons during our Dig It! Science Fair…and you’re invited to join us!
In addition to spring break camps, KinderCare also offers many different themed summer camps for children of all ages.
Disclosure: My child will be attending the camp courtesy of KinderCare. This opportunity was received this opportunity from MomSelect.
This is a great idea. Sort of a trial run. Also great for the parents, as you said, who don’t have the week off and great for the kids. I love the idea that they learn about planting and tending vegetables as well as composting. I also love that they learn how to make healthy veggie treats. Sounds great!
This is a good thing for the parents who don’t have spring break off. So many dont, and this is a good wy to keep the kids busy while learning something new. I also like if the children are alredy enrolled it is covered in their tuition!
We actually have three of these in our larger nearby city and another one even closer. My Senior in HS. has actually looked into working at these centers and talked about the spring camps and being a drawing point for her. So nice to do something out of the ordinary for the kids AND the employees. She had to do an internship for a class and wanted to be placed here. Now have grandkids coming who may need to keep this info for! thanks!
A great idea.I will consider attending it.It is very good.
