Last year, our kids got a Wirehaired Dachshund puppy as a present from a friend. It was love at first sight. My kids named our puppy Rebel – and boy does he live up to his name! Upon getting Rebel we struggled with his training on our own. Too many shoes were damaged, countless chair legs nibbled upon, and he managed to escape the confines of our fenced-in backyard. Dachshunds are diggers by nature, and he would dig underneath the fence and escape to our neighbor’s yard to play with their dogs.
So, we did some research online and asked a few friends about companies that provide safe and highly recommended electronic containment systems for dogs and that’s how we found Invisible Fence. Invisible Fence has been an innovator in the pet containment industry for more than 40 years. Their dog training is the only developed with (and approved by) leading animal behaviorists. Most importantly, the correction Computer Collar® doesn’t hurt the animals. It just guides them away from areas that you don’t want them to be in or around.
Invisible Fence has safe containment systems for dogs and cats of all sizes and ages. They offer both indoor and outdoor containment solutions for your home.
Invisible Fence put the “in” in “independence.”

We have two shih tzus and they are generally good but have accidents on our rugs and floors. I think this could at least keep them from going in places that they like too much. Sounds like a great invention for us..
My aunt just got a golden retriever puppy I’ll have to pass this over to her so she can try to prevent accidents.
I would totally try this if we still had a dog. Our yard is wide open, so this would be perfect.
This is something I have considered with my pets! I think it is great idea to keep pets in your yard and this would not impede the beauty of the yard.
Great investment. My moms dogs used it .
I had no idea that invisible fence could work on an indoor space as well! That’s totally awesome!
Oh my gosh do I need this myself!! My dog loves to run out of our yard which is awful!
We’ve been planning to get invisible fence since we moved into our new home! I’m excited to get it installed this spring.
Invisible fence has been around for so long!Such a trusted name. If we didn’t have an actual fence, I would, no doubt, install IF!
This is awesome! I would love to try this with our new dog!
We don’t currently have a dog, but we used this with my childhood dog growing up. We lived on a busy street and it was a total necessity!
I know a few families who have an invisible fence and it really does help them. If I had a yard, I would get one for my dog.
I have heard really great things about invisible fences. They are really a great idea, especially when you live on a busy street.
This is such a fabulous idea. It is really important that we keep our pets safe and these seems like a fantastic way to do it.
We have had an invisible fence for years and love it. It is so easy to install and use. Plus it works great on both smaller yards and big yards.
What a great idea the invisible fence is! It will keep my dogs in our yard, while maintaining the integrity of our landscape.
I need this for more than the reasons you touched on! My Dog is amazing in the house, but if she gets outside off leash she is a runner!! With three kids its hard to makes sure doors are always closed!! Inside, I have the cat problem! Counters and tables are his climbing spots! I hate it! Cats belong on the floor! I’m going to have to look into this!
When I was a kid, there was a dog in my neighborhood that was contained by one of these invisible fences but of course I had no idea at the time. Well you know, they are invisible so how could I have known? Anyway, I used to think he was so smart when he would always stop at the same spot in his yard everytime I walked by, so much that he left a mark there. When I found out about this product I laughed because I was so embarrassed to think that this dog really had a spot he wouldn’t cross, so sill.y.
These fences seem like a good idea. I wonder if something like this would have kept our last cat from running away from home so much.
I’ve been looking at buying one of these. I live close to the road and when I take Peanut out, he runs to the sidewalk to sniff what dogs have gone by. I hate to always walk him on a leash because he is so hyper and needs to let that energy out. This would be the perfect solution for my small yard.
This would be a great idea to have around our yard. It’s such an awesome thing to have, and not labor-intensive like it would be putting up a fence, which dogs could still get out.
I’d love to get this for our dogs. We have a big property that I don’t want to completely fence in. I think this would be perfect.
I’d definitely get Invisible Fence if I have a dog! We’ve had one before that I had a difficulty training.
I like the idea of the invisible boundaries. My MIL uses an invisible fence and it keeps her dogs safe.
This would be the perfect solution to my best friend’s major headache named Burrito. I will send your link over so she can start training her dog about boundaries.
It’s definitely a great option for your pooch! It not only keeps them safe but also could potentially keep others safe as well.
I had no idea that they offered indoor solutions with Invisible Fence. That is really good to know about.
I’ve been looking into this for the spring when I get a new dog. It sounds like the perfect solution for my backyard and for within the house!
This is perfect for training your dogs! We don’t have a dog but I’ll definitely share this with my friends!
I never thought I would want one of these, but my puppy ran away right before Christmas. Thankfully he was returned home safely, but this fence may have prevented him escaping
