With more and more gadgets filling the market, it is more crucial than ever to be able to tell the good, from the bad. Over the years I have tried dozens of air purifiers, and wow, have they come a long way from when they first became a thing! This month I was lucky enough to try out The HealthPro Plus XE by IQAir and I was blown away! Lets get into the review, because we have a lot to unpack!

Understanding the HealthPro Plus XE

For those of you unfamiliar with IQAir, The HealthPro Plus XE is an upgraded version of their highly acclaimed HealthPro. The design is sleek, and modern, yet packs a huge punch! The main concept that pulled me towards IQAir, is their use of vertically layered filters, rather than the usual horizontal layering we see among under industry leaders.

HyperHEPA Filtration

After admiring the design of The HealthPro Plus XE, we get to get into the tech that makes this machine so unique! The main component of the HealthPro Plus XE is IQAir’s HyperHEPA filtration technology. The main thing that sets their filters apart from all others, is that the HyperHEPA is certified to capture ultrafine particles down to 0.003 microns with an efficiency of 99.5%. The HyperHEPA can catch particles such as bacteria, viruses, allergens, and even pollution, just to name a few. This is great for my family as many of us struggle with asthma and/or allergies.

V5-Cell Gas and Odor Filter

If the HyperHEPA filter wasn’t enough for you, the HealthPro Plus XE also features a V5-Cell Filter, which helps to absorb and oxidize a wide range of chemical pollutants and orders. The bast part, it even works on gas!!! This is just one of the many reasons I was so excited to try out the HelathPro Plus XE when IQAir offered one for review! 

Intelligent Design and Operation

Fun fact, the “XE” in the name isn’t just there for show, it stands for “extra Efficiency.” The HealthPro Plus XE is equipped with a new and improved control panel. On this panel you will find options such as settings, timer options, and you will even be able to track the life of your filter! How cool is that?! Another notable feature is the new sound-dampening feature, making it the perfect air purifier for the bedroom, living room, or anywhere you may want to put it!

Long-Lasting Filters

One of the most cost effective aspects of the HealthPro Plus XE is the logesvity of its filters. While the industry standard is filters that need to be replaced every year, The HyperHEPA filter is built to last up to 4 years! That’s 4 times more cost effective than any other filter I have tried. And in this aspect, I can say that the HealthPro Plus XE is without a doubt one of the best air purifiers I have tried in my home! One of my biggest complaints about my past air purifiers are that i have to pay $80+ per year to replace the filters. Now with the HealthPro Plus XE, I can live knowing that I won’t have to spend that much every year.

Overall, the HealthPro Plus XE is a real game changer! When I first received the unit I was impressed, but the more and more I use it, the more I want to put one in every room of my house! I am simply blown away with how well this unit works and how advanced it is compared to their competitors.
