Best Collagen For Hair Loss
Human hair no longer serves any biological purpose in protecting us from environmental factors such as cold and wind. Today, its only function is aesthetic. Hair is significant for both men and women, and...
Keeping your face clean is so important to keep your skin nice, healthy, and clean. It is detrimental that you have an everyday skincare routine that will be the best for your health. Is there a proper way to clean your face? What products should you be using? Do you need tools? What exactly is the proper order in which you should perform your skincare regimen? All of this is what we are going to be talking about today.
According to experts, there is a proper skincare routine in which you should use certain products in a certain order to get the most benefits for your skin health. Let's start by talking about the kind of products that you should be including in your skincare routine. Products that will give your skin the most benefits include a good cleanser, toner, eye cream, moisturizer, and possibly some sort of serum if you choose to use them. Now, in what order should you use these products? Let's talk about it.
You are going to want to start with a cleanser, using warm water you will want to wet your face and use your cleanser working it into your face to remove any makeup, oil, or debris that may be on your face from your day. I think that simply using your hands is good enough for this step but you can use a face brush if you prefer. Using warm water is important because this helps to open up your pores and get them all cleaned out with your cleanser.
Having a toner in your routine is so important. I would say this is the most important product aside from your cleanser. If you don't know what a toner is used for, it helps to bring your skin back to the proper pH after you cleanse your face. Skipping this step can cause an imbalance in your skin and this can lead to breakouts or skin issues.
Serums are an optional item in your skincare routine but they are beneficial if you have a certain problem area in your skin such as redness, skin discoloration, or even dark circles/wrinkles. Serums are great for focusing on certain areas and at this point of your routine, you would want to apply these.
Using a moisturizer is also very important because it replenishes your skin with the moisture that you just took out of your skin by using a cleanser. Cleansers can cause dryness so it is important to add that moisture back into your skin.
Eye cream is another really important item that you should be using in your routine. A lot of people are under the impression that you don't need to use an eye cream until you are older but on the contrary, the earlier you start using eye creams the more benefits you will have in the future. Using eye creams while you are young will help to prevent eye problems and wrinkles, rather than having to go back and repair those issues later on in life.
Having a skin care regimen is very important. If you are having problem skin and you are unsure of why, maybe you are missing something in your routine that could benefit you. You will want to make sure that you take care of your skin and you will be forever thankful when you get older and your skin is still looking young and beautiful.
I am so bad about not cleaning my face properly. I am so glad you listed the steps out for me. I need to amp up my beauty routine!
I guess I need to re think my routine! I only cleanse (sometimes) and moisturize! There is a lot of other steps I am missing!
I am not good about washing my face before bed and first thing in the morning. Now I wash it in the shower but I really need to get better with my Beauty routine.
I wish when I was younger I took better care of my face. The routine you talked about is a great one, and I am happy that my 20-year-old daughter does a wonderful routine when it comes to her face. She will be thankful when she is older.
These are all part of my skin care routine, though I skip the serum from time to time. These are great tips.
I didn’t realize there were so many steps to having a clean face. I see I’ve been skipping some steps that I need to add in such as using a toner.
These are fantastic! I think we can often fail to realize how dirty our faces get and how much junk we put on them!
I need to follow this routine. I have always felt better with clean skin but haven’t quite figured out what worked best for me yet.
I don’t follow these steps. Shame on me.
When I wash my face, I usually just use soap and water in the shower. I don’t scrub too hard. If I have sugar scrub available, I will use it on my face to help exfoliate the dead skin.
I have all of these items but I never use them at the same time. After reading this I will start using the toner after I wash my face.
This cleansing face routine is really helpful. I should start doing it..
This is a great post to show to teens who might not know how to wash and take care of their face and skin. I think you explained it very well.
Thank you for going through your facial care techniques – I am often confused with the functions of a toner vs a cleanser, also of a serum vs a moisturizer, and usually personally use either one, or the other. Your walkthrough technique makes a lot of sense, and I should follow it!
I should probably follow this routine as well. I don’t do a whole lot to clean my face. I usually just clean it while I’m in the shower.
I don’t wear makeup, so I never really thought about any of this. I think I Need to start moisturizing.
These are great tips. There’s so much more to taking care of your face than just washing it with soap. I love it!
I am pretty good about following a routine with cleaning and taking care of my skin. The only time I seem to not be good is when I have makeup on and go out for the night. I don’t wash my face before bed most of the time.
I swear by eye cream! I really need to get a good toner for my face.
I should print this out and show it to my daughter. She needs to get in the routine… but teenagers seem to have a mind of their own.
I agree about starting the eye cream as early as possible. Why try to repair the damage when you could have prevented it in the first place?
It’s probably about time that I change up my face routine. I wouldn’t mind trying a new cleanser or toner!
I can’t believe that at 43 years old this post gave me a major education when it comes to my beauty routine! I am sharing this with all my friends to make sure they are not missing any steps!
Thanks so much for the tips. I’m so bad at cleaning my face well
These are awesome advice! I never knew I am doing something wrong cleaning my face!
I really like your outline article.
In today’s hustle and bustle world, it is easy to skip out on these steps!
Thanks for the reminder of proper face care.
I will have to share this with my Daughter. She has been starting to use makeup and I want to be sure she is cleaning her skin properly.
Now that I’m a little bit older, taking care of my skin is even more important. I’ve been skipping steps in your recommended routine, but I’m inspired to add in new elements.
I hear so much good stuff about essential oils, but I have never used them. If they can help get my face really clean, then I am all about trying them.
Cleaning one’s face is one of the most essential parts of beauty! That’s why I have an extensive face cleaning regimen!
Great info. The older I get the more I am trying to take better care of my skin I have definitely bought some of these items within the last few months.
Not to mention NEVER go to sleep with makeup on! I also like using a facial cleansing device. 🙂
Will I sound crazy if I tell you that I don’t use neither cleansers nor toners nor serums? My skin is super dry. I usually just use a natural face wash I make myself and then apply some moisturising cream. That’s me done. I think I’m simply too lazy ;>>>> After this post you made me think… Perhaps I should try following your steps? Yeah. I think I’ll look into what products I could get.
