I have saved this Valentine's Day card / heart that my daughter Annabella made in preschool for several years. It was the best Valentine's Day present. EVER. I laughed so hard that I cried when she brought it home to me.
Notice the candy heart that she glued on the paper says “No Way.” The fact that she brought home a Valentine with an unintentional yet passive aggressive warning still tickles me every time I read it.
Annabella is this beautiful, amazing, strong willed child that I am sure will be beating off the boys with a stick one day.
Either that or she will just make them a Valentine's Day card.
I love my kid.
Too cute. That really reminds me of my little girl..a beautiful and strong willed fireball! She takes after her mother…
WHATEVER! 😉
This is so hilarious. Kids are funny.
I remember when my little brother came home with this little wooden teddy bear craft from school, and on the back he painted “I Hate School.” lol.
I love that!! That sounds like something my son would do.
That is too cute! Sounds like something my daughter would do lol 🙂
Yeah, my daughter cracks me up. She will be trouble during her teenage years!!
Adorable! I have a box under my bed with many items just like this. Every once in a while the kids and I go through it and laugh and enjoy what we find. Happy Valentine’s Day to you and your daughter.
I love to keep things like this. They will definitely love looking back one day!
You really made me giggle with this one! Too cute, I have so many similar creations from my three boys. Love the “no way”!
She could not even read when she made but I’ll bet her teachers got a big kick out of it.
You know she sounds exactly like my 3 year old! Sassy but sweet! Happy Valentine’s day Stacie!
Thanks Niri!
Those are the best! I treasure my first homemade/school made cards too! My mom and aunts still have cards I made for them way back when! It’s a real hoot to look at those now!
Awwww that is great that they kept these things. I am trying hard to do that for my children.
That’s awesome! You should keep that somewhere safe and give it to her as an adult!
I know! I have to keep until she is old enough to really understand and appreciate it. I have had to reglue the heart a few times.
Oh my goodness….that is too funny 🙂
I know. She cracks me up!
Ah, so sweet!
Thanks!
That is so, so perfect, I love it!!!
I know. She is silly!!
Adorable!
Thanks Lisa!
I’d treasure this too. Be sure to take it out when she does have a boyfriend = blackmail material.
I will definitely use it as future blackmail material!!
LMBO! Too cute!!
Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
I love that! I’d be keeping that classic valentine, too. 🙂
I know. It is definitely a keeper!!!
Awww so sweet- these are treasures you’ll keep and remember forever! She’s a sweetheart!
She is such a great kid. I love that she is already fighting off the boys at a young age!!!
Funny how their character shines at such a young age! They are each SO unique!
I know. You are so right!
That’s the best! It’s always fun to get a glimpse of their personalities through things like this or stuff they randomly say. Love it!
Really, I think that she would laugh if she knew what she said.
Oh my gosh isn’t that just too cute. No Way Mom!!! I love stories about your daughter, it makes me appreciate what I have even more. 😉 My son, might turn out to be a lot like your daughter though. Aye yi yi
That is funny Louise!!
Isn’t that precious! I keep sentimental things like that too.
Thanks for stopping by Pam!
Too cute 🙂 Kids do such silly things- and thats a keeper!
I LOVE reading posts about the kiddos! I have so many treasures and even with 9 moves since becoming a mom for the 1st time 30 yrs ago, I have kept so many of my kids treasures like this. I have one of those strong willed, call it like she sees it kids…my youngest who would totally do that!
Didnt know you had a lil one named Annabella. That is my nieces name who was born so prematurely last April. Beautiful name!
