Happy Valentine’s Day! A Message From My Daughter

I have saved this Valentine's Day card / heart that my daughter Annabella made in preschool for several years. It was the best Valentine's Day present. EVER. I laughed so hard that I cried when she brought it home to me.

Notice the candy heart that she glued on the paper says “No Way.” The fact that she brought home a Valentine with an unintentional yet passive aggressive warning still tickles me every time I read it.

Annabella is this beautiful, amazing, strong willed child that I am sure will be beating off the boys with a stick one day.

Either that or she will just make them a Valentine's Day card.

I love my kid.

I remember when my little brother came home with this little wooden teddy bear craft from school, and on the back he painted “I Hate School.” lol.
