Geode Bath Bombs
Geode Bath Bombs
My kids have always been fascinated with sparkly things, especially geodes. They love all kinds of rocks, fossils, sticks, geodes, minerals, and more. You know those touristy places where you can fill a bag with rocks for $5? There are probably 50 cents worth of rocks in there but my kids loved it. I am still finding bags of rocks around my house. These days they are more into style and makeup than rocks so I wanted to create something that they would love. Looking for a black bath bomb? We hope that this Geode Bath Bombs recipe inspires you.

Directions
- Whisk together the baking soda, citric acid, cornstarch, and Epsom salts.
- In a second bowl, combine the melted coconut oil and witch hazel, mixing well.
- Add liquid ingredients 1 tsp at a time to the dry ingredients, mixing it slowly so as not to start the fizzy reaction.
- Split out 1/2 of the mixture into a second bowl.
- In one of the bowls, add the pink and blue mica powders and stir until the color is a consistent purple throughout. In the second bowl, add the charcoal and stir until the color is consistent.
- Dust the bottom of one side of a bath bomb mold with cornstarch.
- Immediately pack the bath bomb mold charcoal mixture along the edges, about ¼-inch thick, followed by the purple mixture filling in the cavity. Press down hard to pack the mixtures into the mold tightly.
- Top with about 1 tbsp of the sprinkles, mashing them in a bit to get them to stick in the bath bomb.
- Allow the bath bombs to rest in the mold for up to 24 hours before gently tapping the side of the mold to release the bombs.
- To add the gold stripe along the edges of the bath bombs, combine the edible gold glitter and alcohol, then apply a stripe of this glitter to the top of each bath bomb with a paintbrush.
- Use your bath bombs immediately or store them in an airtight container until you’re ready to use them.
