Recently, E.L.F (Eyes Lips Face) has released a few new face palettes, one being the face contouring palette. Contouring has been made popular by a lot of celebrities these days, the most popular being Kim Kardashian-West. Everyone is always trying to achieve that really chiseled, contoured face that Kim is always sporting. Sometimes, you cannot afford the high end makeup products that most celebrities and professional make-up artists use. But who says you need those to achieve great results?!The E.L.F Contour palette is the answer to what you are looking for! This palette is extremely affordable, being only $6! However, I have not seen it at local retailers, I think it may only be available on the Eyes Lips Face website for now. I'm sure it will be popping up in stores very soon! E.L.F products are all extremely affordable and most of them are great quality, especially for what you pay for them. Let me tell you a little bit more about it!
Let's start by talking about the packaging of the product itself. The palette comes within a cardboard covering, but when you take it out it is a square-shaped black palette. I love the packaging looks, I think the standard black is very sleek and clean looking. Opening up the palette, you have your four shades and a great sized mirror for applying. A great feature of all the new E.L.F palettes are that the products are able to pop out and are interchangeable, so if you wanted to create your own bronzer/blush palette or something like that, you could!
I was very surprised and pleased with the outcome of the product. The colors in the palette consist of two highlight shades and two contour shades. There is a creamy/peachy color, one more on the whiteish side for your highlight shades. Then there is an in between caramel color, and then a darker, milk chocolate color for your contouring shades. This is a great palette because even just in the 4 shades, it has a pretty good variety of colors that is versatile for many people. The physical product feels great, even though they are a pressed powder, it has an amazing silky smooth consistency. I don't know about you, but I hate when a powder is very dry and chalky, so these are right up my alley.I think this is an absolutely phenomenal product. It is extremely affordable, great quality, and something I think I, and many others will get a lot of use out of. You will definitely be able to achieve your amazing contoured look with this gorgeous palette. You get a great amount, versatility, and quality for just $6. E.L.F just released this product and I think that it is the perfect time because it is Summer, and we all want that bronzed look for this season! I have a lot of Elf products and they do not cost a lot of money. I like the Contouring palette and want to get one of these. It looks like this makeup could really help give my face some structure!
