Disney World Resort and ESPN Wide World of Sports Team Travel Being a Team Mom is no easy feat. There is a lot of organization involved along with a lot of new parent hand...
There is perhaps no better way to experience Disney World than to go all in and stay at one of the elaborately decorated Disney resorts. The Disney All Star Music Resort is designed around various music genres, including jazz and rock and roll. This family friendly hotel caters to the young as well as the young at heart, making it the perfect place to call home while guests are in town to visit the amusement parks.
Among the accommodations at this Disney themed resort are the family suites, which can comfortably sleep as many as six people. Smaller families, or groups who want to enjoy separate rooms, may also rent a standard or preferred size room. Many of the accommodations afford a view of either the resort courtyard or the pool area, and none of the rooms sleep less than four people.
This hotel has two full sized pools as well as one kiddie pool made just for small swimmers. The Calypso pool is 251,418 gallons in size and playfully shaped as a guitar. It's at this swimming pool that guests can catch a Disney movie screening any night of the week. The piano pool is a 106,036-gallon swimming pool that is meant to be a bit more quiet for those adult guests who want to unwind.
In addition to the swimming areas, the Disney All Star Music Resort has a playground area for little ones as well as a jogging trail good for a one-mile jog or walk around the resort. The Note’able Games Arcade has a wide range of games, including pinball and basketball. Of course, the nearby Disney theme parks and water parks are the best way to get entertainment during the day while guests are staying at the resort.
Bus transportation is available to take resort guests to and from most of the major attractions within Walt Disney World. Disney's Magical Express also provides complimentary pick up and drop off service at the Orlando International Airport. Guests who drive to the resort can park for no fee as long as they are renting a room.
