The Smile Quota
As a mother, I am constantly trying to capture the perfect picture. I long for the shot when all three of my children are smiling, their hair is combed and their faces are mostly...
This past week, I had the opportunity to host a really cool kids get together in conjunction with our Thanksgiving celebration. Typically my family and I get together to celebrate the holiday and of course, eat.
There is almost always not much for the kids to do while the adults hang out together. However, this year I wanted to do something fun for the kids and I wanted it to be something that they would not forget.
My idea was simple and then it kind of grew into something much larger. I wanted to have a do it yourself cocoa station where the kids could stir it themselves and dress it up with whipped cream and marshmallows. But as I got to shopping, I started looking at all of the yummy ingredients available and the hot cocoa buffet was born.
I literally had to put some stuff back because we had so many items in our cart and there are probably a few things that I might add next time but the hot cocoa buffet was a resounding success.
My kids are already asking when we can do it again and the other kids who attended are begging their parents to do the same thing.
Check out my Whrrl below for the details:
DISCLOSURE: I was compensated by Collective Bias to shop for Cold Stone Creamery Hot Cocoa, all other ingredients and to host the kids party. I highly suggest you try this yourself. Your kids will thank you for it!

I had no idea cold stone also had a hot chocolate. Is this sold at grocery stores, or at the cold stone ice cream parlors only? I haven’t seen it at my local grocery store.
