Watermelon Martini
Watermelon Martini To me, nothing says summer like fresh watermelon. We love summer and creating recipes. This is especially true with watermelon recipes. Watermelon is one of those versatile fruits that can be used...
Tis the season! The holiday season is officially here and between baking cookies and shopping for gifts. This December you can collect the new, limited-edition Arctic Home red cans—which has polar bears set against the iconic red Coca-Cola background. Now you can mix the nostalgia of Coca-Cola with the excitement of limited-edition cans at your holiday festivities!
December is a month that brings families together and often serves as a reminder to give back as well. My family is very big on Pay it Forward moments. We absolutely love ways in which we can do something special for others no matter how small.
In fact, I have an entire article about how paying it forward has tremendously helped me during a tough period of my life. You can check out that. So I am a big fan of doing what I can to Pay it Forward.
When it comes to Paying it Forward, did you know that there are tons of ways you can do something to have a positive impact on others?
For instance:
-Pay the toll of the person behind you (we did this for someone on our recent trip to Florida and I do it once or twice a month here in Georgia)
-Donate clothes, household goods and toys to the needy (many places will even come and pick up in your neighborhood)
-Give a few hours of your time to help out a local hospital
-Go read in your child's classroom. Seems obvious right? Did you know that many children don't have parents who read to them every night or even at all?
-Bring your magazines and books to a local hospital to donate (we have spent a lot of time in hospitals and they rely on donations to stock their library. Once I finish reading current magazines, I deliver them all to a local hospital).
These are some small ways to have a large impact on those around you. I would love to know your favorite ways to give back. In fact, if you have photos or videos from past or present “Pay it Forward” moments, I would love to see those as well. Leave me a comment and let me know what you have done.
DONATE AND GIVE BACK
Readers can share where they have found the Arctic Home red cans and if/how they donated to Arctic Home. Remember you can donate to Arctic Home through logging on to www.arctichome.com, texting package codes to the package code to 357357 to make a $1 donation to WWF or donating points through MCR.com.

I always love the new Coke cans although this year I keep getting them mixed up with the Diet Coke for my husband! lol
As far as paying it forward I’m a big believer in that. We pay for food for ppl behind us a lot and donate a lot of items around the house. 🙂

Oh I love it! It’s just not the holidays without the Coca-Cola Polar Bears! Great idea with paying it forward too!
I really like this new Coca-Cola design. I respect Coca-Cola for supporting charity.
