Flea and tick outbreaks are triggered by changes in temperature and humidity, often catching families off-guard and vulnerable to infestation. This is what seems to happen every year in Georgia. Adams Flea and Tick Spray for Dogs is a topical treatment that kills adult fleas, flea eggs, flea larvae, ticks, and repels mosquitoes. It is available for dogs of all sizes and ages, from puppies 8 weeks old to adult dogs.
The active ingredients in Adams Flea and Tick Spray for Dogs are etofenprox and S-methoprene. Etofenprox is an insecticide that kills adult fleas and ticks on contact. S-methoprene is an insect growth regulator that prevents flea eggs from hatching and kills flea larvae. Adams Flea and Tick Spray for Dogs is available in a 16-ounce bottle and a 32-ounce bottle. It is easy to apply and can be used on dogs of all sizes. Adams Flea and Tick Spray for Dogs contains two main ingredients:
Adams Flea and Tick Spray for Dogs is effective for up to 4 weeks. However, it is important to reapply the spray every month, especially if your dog is in an area with a lot of fleas and ticks.
Adams Flea and Tick Spray for Dogs is safe for use on dogs 8 weeks of age or older. However, it is important to read the label carefully before using any pet medication and to consult your veterinarian if you have any concerns.
Since we want to keep our pets free of fleas and ticks, using products from Adams is one way that we show them love. In the hot south, fleas and ticks are around here in Atlanta. I have spent years trying to keep pets free of ticks and fleas. For the first time, we are treating our yard this year in addition to using Adams Flea Spray for Dogs, we are using Adams Yard & Garden Spray.
We are also using Adams for Dogs Flea & Tick Spot On which we love! The award-winning Adams Smart Shield applicator comes free when you buy Adams for Dogs Flea & Tick Spot On at Walmart. This applicator was easy to use and our dogs didn’t mind at all when we used it on them. The smartest way to protect pets from pests is to treat pets, homes, and yards before a flea and tick outbreak occurs. If you need to treat, then you need Adams products.
Adams Flea and Tick Spray for Dogs is a safe and effective product that can help protect your dog from fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes. However, it is important to read the label carefully before use and to consult with your veterinarian if you have any concerns. We hope that this post inspires you. Good luck!
It sounds like it would be a really good idea to have some of the home spray stocked up at all times. Those fleas can get out of hand fast!
No furbabies right now, but I will definitely keep Adams in mind when I get another Dog! Gotta keep them safe! 🙂
Thanks for the reminder. Tick season is coming up quick.
It sure is! And we don’t want to cart any of those nasty buggers home!
This sounds like a really great brand. I will share this with my friends and family that have pets.
I have not heard of Adams pet products before. I will have to look for it at my pet store.
What a cute doggie! I haven’t heard of Adams before now, but looks like Rufus would love it
We have used Adams Spot On for our golden retriever. I can’t stand the thought of fleas or ticks in our home (he’s an inside dog 90% of the time), so we have to safeguard him from being in any pesky bugs!
Teddy is a cutie pie. I don’t have pets but would love to try Adams to repel mosquitoes in my back yard.
With summer months upon us, we’ll be taking a lot of hikes with our dogs. It’s critical that we make sure they are protected from those nasty fleas and ticks that like to hitch a ride while we are out and about! Adams sounds like a great way to do that!
I’ve been looking for ways to keep ticks off of him. I’m definitely going to check this out!
When I lived in OK I used the Adams lawn and garden spray to help battle the flea and tick problem. I swear they multiply in the heat. Now that I am here in MI, the problem isnt near as bad.
I never thought about using anything for fleas but the medicine on my dog! I Will have to look more into this sounds great!
Wow, I didn’t know they had a spray that could kill bed bugs too. How neat is that?
This looks like a great product line. It is good to know that they have something to kill bed bugs.
Haven’t used this brand before but will try it. Glad they sell it at Walmart.
I think Walmart has just about everything these days. Seems like every time I go to the one closest to me they have moved the store around to accommodate more shelves.
Thanks so much for sharing this! The only thing as disgusting as fleas and ticks is the cost of the preventative!
Fleas and ticks are such a problem around here. We have used Adams products in the past.
Thanks for this great information. We’ve been talking about getting a dog, and I had no idea you could get preventative over the counter.
I use this brand with my dogs too. We have never had a problem using it.
Those supplies would be so darn handy. As soon as fleas get a foothold it can be a disaster.
My husband came in with a tick on the back of his shirt last week! The first thing we did was protect the dog. Hopefully that’s the only one we have in the house this summer!!
I will have to check this out! I haven’t heard of Adams before but it sounds like it’s something that could benefit us animals owners greatly!
I remember having animals and every year fighting fleas and ticks. It became so much work. Glad the Adams brand works for you.
I always grew up thinking we did not have ticks in our area of the country but recently learned from our vet that is false. Our dog is like one of my kids, so I definitely need him protected.
Gotta keep the furbabies safe! Not to mention no one wants fleas, ticks or creepy crawlies in the house! 🙂
How neat that they have pet products and yard products! So many ticks and fleas this time of year
I’ve been looking for a way to protect cats from pests. I will definitely look into treating my cats, home and yard before a flea and tick outbreak occurs.
With a dog that spends a lIt of time outdoors, I need to protect both our dog and our home. It sounds like the Adams line of products are a great choice.
Adams looks and sounds like a really great product. I’m going to pass this info along to my neighbor for her dogs.
Great products. Perfect for pet owners.
I haven’t heard of Adams. But I want to keep my pets safe this summer from things that can harm them.
We love Adams! We actually need to restock LOL.
I am heading to their site to check out their products.Making sure Diesel is Tick and Flea free is so important to me.
What great products! I love that you can treat the yard as well as the pet. My dog had worm issues before we adopted her so we are always taking precautions so she doesn’t get sick again.
I had no idea that you could treat your yard! Well I guess I never looked into it either. But this is great! Ticks and fleas are horrible here
Thanks for the reminder! We have to keep our precious pets protected from fleas and ticks!
Teddy is so cute! I will have to check out some of Adam’s products.
This is a new brand to me, but we do need to restock our supplies right now! I’ll have to check them out!
