I have always loved gumdrops since I was a kid. I still do! My favorite were those insanely delicious Brach's Mandarin Orange Slices gumdrops which you used to be able to buy individually in some grocery stores like penny candy. Who remembers that? That was my first official foray into all things gumdrops. My sister and I used to beg our mother to let us get a few pieces of candy and those orange slice gumdrops were always my top pick. Next was caramel but that's whole other recipe coming soon. We hope that you love this Valentine's Day Red Heart Gumdrops Recipe.
This gumdrop recipe is absolutely delicious and can be modified in lots of ways for holidays other than Valentine's Day. Grab a star shaped cookie cutter for July 4th celebration gumdrops or a Christmas tree shaped cookie cutter for Christmas gumdrops. You can also do green JELLO or any color you want to really explore with this recipe and see what you can create. Consider infusing with alcohol for fun adult gummies. We hope that you love this Valentine's Day Red Heart Gumdrops Recipe. Happy Valentine's Day.
