Ipsy Glam Bag Reveal June 2016
Ipsy Glam Bag Reveal June 2016 It is my favorite time of the month again! It's Ipsy Glam Bag time. I'm sure you've seen me rant and rave about the Ipsy beauty box subscription...
Bath bombs have become a huge craze over the past couple years, thanks to Lush with their famous crazy colored and scented bath bombs. Lush bath bombs range from $4.95 for their most basic bath bombs and go all the way up to $19.95 for their most extravagant ones. Although Lush bath bombs are amazing and I love them, I wanted to see if I could find another bath bomb that would compare in quality, size, and design features for a cheaper price. So we are looking for the best bath bombs. We hope that you love this Victoria’s Secret PINK Bath Bomb Review.
I saw that Victoria’s Secret now sells their own bath bombs in the PINK bath/body section and everyone is searching for victoria secret bath bombs. The bombs look fairly similar to a lush bath bomb and to my surprise they actually have a decent variety of different scents and ingredients. I wanted to give just one a try to see whether or not I would like these bath bombs or not, I ended up choosing the Calming Vanilla one which is a cream color with gold flakes throughout. So here is our victoria secret bath bomb review.
The price on the Victoria's Secret Bath Bombs are $6.50 each so they are relatively comparable to the Lush basic bath bombs. It wasn't until I got home that I compared the sizes of the two different bath bombs. In the Victoria's Secret bath bomb you get 130 g (4.6 oz) where as in a Lush standard bath bomb ($6.95) you get 6.3 oz. The next test was to see if the Victoria's Secret bath bombs were of the same quality as a Lush bath bomb. When I threw this bath bomb into my running bath immediately I noticed that it does not give off the same effect as a Lush bath bomb. When you drop a Lush bath bomb in the water it gives you a beautiful array of colors and sometimes they fizz and bubble where as I noticed the Victoria's Secret bath bomb just fizzled a little bit and then just slowly began dissolving but there wasn't much excitement to it. As far as whether or not I felt the bath bomb did add something special to my bath, I do! I did love the smell of vanilla throughout my bath and my skin did feel nice and moisturized and soft after I finished up my bath but I don't feel like these bath bombs are quite up to the standard in quality as the Lush bath bombs.
I don't necessarily think the Victoria's Secret bath bombs are bad quality or not worth the money by any means, I did enjoy my bath using the PINK bath bomb. I think these make for a great alternative for Lush bath bombs if you don't have a Lush store close by you and you don't want to wait for an online order to come in. Overall they are pretty comparable in size and their ability to soothe and relax you in your bath. I would just say they aren't quite as extravagant as a Lush bath bomb and you get a little more bang for your buck with the Lush bombs.
