essie Gel Couture Nail Polish Review available Rite Aid {VIDEO}
essie Gel Couture Nail Polish Review I love painting my fingernails and getting my nails done. Generally, I get a manicure once a month or so but it between manicures, I do my nails...
I've expressed in the past that Too Faced is one of my favorite cosmetic brands and I recently saw that they were collabing with Nikkie Tutorials, which if you don't know that is she is a highly known Youtube beauty guru. I love when brands collab with internet creators, it is a great opportunity for those who need that push into the makeup world. I went ahead and picked up the collection from Too Faced and Nikkie and today we are going to be breaking it all down and I will let you know what I think of everything! We hope that you enjoy our LIMITED EDITION! Too Faced X Nikkie Tutorials Power of Makeup Collaboration Review.
Let's talk about the packaging to start because I absolutely LOVE it. With the collection you get a box that is pink, white and black cheetah print everywhere. Inside of the box you get the palette which has the same design and also a little ziplock baggy, once again with the same print on that as well. Everything is so girly and cute, you gotta love it!
Inside your little baggy you will get a FULL SIZE sketch marker liquid liner, a deluxe sample size of the Shadow Insurance eye shadow primer, a Too Faced Glitter pigment in the shade Glitterly, and a deluxe travel size of the Better Than Sex Mascara but in a purple shade versus the typical black color.
Now the fun part, let's dive into the palette itself! This palette is great because it is an all in one face palette. You get 9 eyeshadow shades, 2 Blushes, a Bronzer, and a Highlighting Shade. I'm going to jump into each shade and what I think about everything in the palette itself.
Ivy: Ivy is a matte cream/white shade. This is a great shade to use to set a base for your whole look or also a great matte white brow bone highlight.
Sugar Coated: This one is a beautiful shimmer baby pink shade. This is so beautiful and I love it because it just reminds me of like a beautiful pink princess shade, it's great for an all over lid shade.
Frosted Yum: This is probably my all time favorite shade in the palette because I don't feel like there are many palettes out there that have a true silver shade and I think that Frosted Yum really conveys that look. This is great for a deep, dramatic smokey eye.
Irresistible: On the flip side of Frosted Yum, Irresistible is a true gold shade another one that you don't necessarily see a whole lot in palettes that are out there.
Painkiller: This shade is a just a light warm brown shade. This is definitely my perfect transition shade and one that I love to pop into the crease for an everyday natural look.
Makeup & Chill: This one is a beautiful chocolately brown shade and I LOVE using this to deepen up my crease and adding a bit of dimension to my eye look. Not to mention, the name is pretty awesome!
Mystic Hour: Mystic hour is a very unique shade. It is a metallic teal shade and trust me when I say it is a very deep, pigmented shade so you definitely have to be careful with it and use a light hand. It's personally not a wearable everyday shade for me but it is beautiful and great for more dramatic out there looks.
Wham Bam: Purples are one of my favorite colors to wear so I was really excited to test out this shade. This one is beautiful, it is a satin finish not too matte but not too shimmery either. I think it's a beautiful purple shade and definitely one I will use a lot.
Wanted: Most palettes like to feature a basic black and this palette is no different. Wanted is a deep, dark matte black shade. I personally don't use a whole lot of blacks in my eye shadow looks but it's nice to have just in case.
I Will Always Love You: The first blush in the palette is I Will Always Love You and it is a beautiful orangey-peach shade. This one is absolutely gorgeous and personally one of my favorite blush colors to use on a daily basis.
Justify My Love: Next, this one is a bright pink shade! This one is not one of my personal everyday blush shades but it is absolutely gorgeous and I love to throw it into my routine from time to time.
Chocolate Soleil Bronzer: I was SO happy that they included this bronzer in the palette because this is my all time favorite, holy grail bronzer! I think it's great that it's in this palette because I can simply bring this palette and have my whole face look in one compact.
Champagne Truffle: This highlighter shade is actually an eye shadow shade in the original Chocolate Bar Palette by Too Faced and it is an absolutely beautiful shade to use as your face highlight and I'm so glad they transferred that shadow into a bigger pan for this face palette.
All in all I think this is a beautiful palette inside and out. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous and the colors inside the palette are really unique and you can create so many different looks with this one. If you were on the fence, I would definitely recommend checking it out and grab it before it's gone because it is a limited edition piece!
