For a long time, I really didn't like myself in pictures. In fact, you could say that I hated being in pictures. I was much happier behind the camera (phone) capturing the moments that my family was in until one day I realized I wasn't in any of the pictures. Not a single one.
So back to my smile. I had braces in my early 20's and then I kind of quit wearing my retainers after a couple of years. The teeth on the bottom row spread out creating a few spaces. The teeth on the top row seemed to get closer together. I needed Invisalign. I really needed it to boost my confidence.
I made a promise to myself that when I started Invisalign, I would also work to transition my entire family to healthier eating habits. I wanted us to become healthier as a family. My husband was 100% on board so we got to work. The two of us started with the Whole 30 and then really changed all of our eating habits. Our kids are still a work in program.
I spent about a year and half in treatment and I absolutely LOVE my smile now. It all definitely starts with a smile. How would you like to win a smile makeover grant from Invisalign? Watch the video below.
