Wordless Wednesday: The Trevi Fountain in Rome Italy
I was thrilled to take my children on their first European trip this past summer. A lot of people have asked me about it. I saved for a long time and paid things off...
Since 2007, the UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation (UHCCF) has funded more than 10,000 medical grants totaling more than $29 million. UHCCF, above all else, delivers happiness to children and families who need it most.
The UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation (UHCCF) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides medical grants to help children gain access to health-related services not covered, or not fully covered, by their family’s commercial health insurance plan. Families can receive up to $5,000 annually per child ($10,000 lifetime maximum per child), and do not need to have insurance through UnitedHealthcare to be eligible.
The Foundation embraces and supports the concept of facilitating access to health-related services that have the potential to significantly enhance either the clinical condition or the quality of life of the child and that are not fully covered by the available commercial health insurance plan. The Foundation provides financial assistance toward the family's share of the cost of medical services.
The UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation (UHCCF) has collected knock-knock jokes and riddles for two new joke books available now. These joke books not only provide smiles and laughter, but also help fund child medical grants for families in need. Proceeds from the sales of the books will help fund UHCCF grants that help families pay for children’s medical expenses not covered, or not fully covered, by a commercial health insurance plan.

I think this is a fantastic cause! I just went into my son’s room and did the Norma Lee knock knock joke.
That’s such a fun book, but I love that the proceeds go to such a worthy cause! I can see these jokes being a huge hit in any classroom!
This would be a great gift for kids. My kids loved jokes and riddles when they were younger.
I love this idea. Such a great way to raise money, and who doesn’t love joke books? My kiddos are complete jokesters at times and would love this!
This is for such an amazing cause. I will make sure to spread the word about these books!
I love that these books are for a good cause. My son would love it too.
What a great gift idea… and what a great cause that the money goes back to.
I like the book and the price of it too. Most of all, I like the amount of money they’ve gotten to help others, that’s amazing and definitely to be applauded.
This is great. A book for kids that also raises money for kids. Win! Win!
My five year old is obsessed with knock knock jokes. She is always asking Siri to find them for her.
That sounds like a great joke book! Thanks for sharing about this! 🙂
I’m so glad there are services like UHCCF that will try to cover the gaps between the actual cost of treatment, and what their insurance will cover. My friend’s little boy had hydrocephaly and needed brain surgery, but they couldn’t afford the travel to New York for the best surgeon they could find to take his case. We ended up raising thousands of dollars to cover their trip expenses, but not everyone is so lucky to have friends come together and cover those costs.
Very happy to see your article, I very much to like and agree with your point of view. Thank you for sharing. Welcome to look at my website and blog articles. Hope we can become good friends, and exchange and to help each other! Thanks!
