Visiting Belgium: Brussels
Photo Credit: askideas.com Visiting Belgium Brussels This was my first trip to Belgium and will definitely not be my last. A must do when arriving in Belgium is walking around Grand Place, the central...
We are booked and ready. We will be visiting Panama City Beach, and my family couldn't be more excited!
We have booked a two bedroom condo at the Long Beach Resort by The Resort Collection. This will be perfect for my family of five.
At the Long Beach Resort, we are excited about the fact that we will be able to play on the 1300 feet of beach, swim at one of the many pools or hang out on our oversized balcony. We can also rent snorkels or soak in the hot tub. My husband is thrilled about getting to play a few rounds of golf in PCB. We are also all bringing our tennis rackets to play on one of their tennis courts. My husband and I might even head over to the fitness center to get some exercise in.
We have plans to visit RIPLEY'S BELIEVE IT OR NOT because my children LOVE visiting them in every city that we travel to. Their a love to look at all of the amazing things that adorn the walls. This location has four different activities to participate in. The Ripley's Believe It or Not! Odditorium is probably what we will see first but I am pretty certain that my son will want to do the Impossible LaseRace. I could spend hours looking at all of the strange things on the walls and I usually lag behind my family because I am reading the plaques next to each oddity! My kids will definitely want to ride the state-of-the-art 7D Moving Theater and I might just have to drag them out of the gift shop.
We also plan to visit WONDERWORKS which is right across the street although we may do that on a different day. WonderWorks is housed in that huge upside down house that you may pass on the strip in PCB. Their space is 35,000 square feet and they offer more than 100 interactive exhibits.
We plan to devote an entire day to the SEACREST WOLF PRESERVE. My son is fascinated by wolves and at this preserve they have dedicated themselves to preserving the species plus diminishing some of the myths that surround wolves.
Here are some of our favorite restaurants to try while visiting Panama City Beach.
SCHOONERS is always the first place we hit when we come to town. Schooners is a laid back beach front, open air restaurant that serves seafood and standard beach fare. We love that they are open 7 days a week for lunch and then they stay open until late plus they have live music when is always a bonus.
PINEAPPLE WILLY'S is another favorite of ours because their restaurant is open air and out on a dock. They have a fun family waiting area with tv's and live music which my kids love. We always grab appetizers there while we are waiting for a table. I plan to grab my refillable glass and partake in some of their fun signature drinks.
J. MICHAEL'S RESTAURANT & OYSTER BAR is the perfect place to end your evening! This is a rustic place that you will find a lot of locals at. The restaurant is decorated with sea life, license plates and dollar bills. You can find American-style seafood and they have the best oysters of any place we have eaten at the beach.
CAPT. ANDERSON'S RESTAURANT is the classic place to dine while in PCB. This waterfront restaurant is very large and has held many of our family reunion parties over the years. This iconic place serves seafood and so much more.
The beach is one of my happy places. My entire family loves to travel to the beach as well. We plan at least one or two trips per year where we get to put our toes in the sand!
