I have received information about the TYLENOL® For What Matters Most™ campaign from McNeil Consumer Healthcare Division of McNEIL-PPC, Inc., the makers of TYLENOL®. The opinions stated are my own. This is a sponsored post.
I have a pretty close family. Most of live in Georgia and we all live very close to each other. As a result we spend a lot of time together and the holidays are very important to all of us. While we may change the location or the setup, we always spend the holidays together. Even better when we all truly enjoy spending time with each other. In my own immediately family (five of us plus the dog), we have some things that we tend to do on a regular basis. For instance, we always eat dinner together at the table. No television, no electronics. Just the family sitting together enjoying a meal and each other. Another one of our favorite traditions is decorating our Christmas tree together. All five of us always decorate together no matter what and if one of us is out of town, we wait until we can all be together. A couple of times this has resulted in us decorating pretty close to Christmas but to me this is worth it because my family will always have these wonderful memories. Our family tradition goes something like this: 1. We head to a local tree farm and spend the day picking out a tree. The farm usually has hayrides, hot chocolates, bonfires and more. 2. Once we get the tree home, everyone helps to get the stand and get it all set up properly. We then let the tree rest for a day. 3. Everyone then helps bringing up the ornaments from the basement. We unpack all of the ornaments. 4. Then we all decorate together. There are no rules for decorating and ornaments can go wherever the kids choose to put them. 5. I make hot chocolate while we decorate while we all have fun reminiscing about where the ornaments came from. This tradition is definitely building amazing memories. That picture above is the same picture that I take every single year. It is so fun to see how the kids grow each year. This is definitely what matters most to me.
For 60 years, the makers of TYLENOL® have helped to care for families. To celebrate the holidays this year, the makers of TYLENOL® decided to put a modern spin on Norman Rockwell’s classic holiday painting Freedom From Want, to help illustrate how modern families come together to celebrate what matters most during the holidays. TYLENOL® For What Matters Most™ campaign is centered on the fact that family matters most no matter the dynamic or makeup.

My husband and I just decided that we want to chop down our own tree next year. It will be our first time.
Sounds like a great tradition. We usually get our tree from a local farm. But time often means we just do the tree and we miss the fun activities. With decorating we do the same and my boys put the ornaments anywhere. I want it to be their tree. it always turns out great.
Love your tree. So much fum to spend time with family.
We always get a tree at the local tree farm too. It’s a lot of fun!
How nice you live close to your family. We used to and then all of us started moving one place or another. Miss having them close by.
What a great tradition. I’m hoping when my kiddos get older we can Chop down a tree. For now it’s a fake one and I’m bored with it!
Having family traditions is important to me! I love to start new traditions of course but some are ones we have had since before we had kids. Your kiddos look like they are having a lot of fun decorating your tree!
That tree is just beautiful. I hope you had an amazing holiday with what matters most!: )
We’re working on creating traditions such as this. My son helped me put the tree up this year and we all decorated it.
Your tree is so pretty. I wish I lived closer to my family. I am in PA and we have family in NC, Texas, and Ga. You are lucky and I hope you had a great holiday.
I tried to slow down during the holidays and really just enjoy my family. It worked this year, next year I’ll slow down ever more. Great tradition!
Family is most certainly an important aspect in life. Thanks for sharing the heartwarming post.
We just moved to Marco Island, Fl this was the first year not being with family, it was very strange! Tylenol has a great campaign with this one.
What a great campaign! My family matters most and spending low key nights with them are the most important.
