DIY Aromatherapy Neck Pillow
DIY AROMATHERAPY NECK PILLOW
Materials:
- 1 tube sock
- Needle & thread OR sewing machine
- White rice (2-3 cups depending on the size of your sock)
- 10-15 drops Lavender oil (or your essential oil of preference)
- Ribbon
Directions: Fill your tube sock with rice about 3/4 of the way full. Add the Lavender oil. Sew the sock opening shut. Attach cute ribbon to end of sock. Shake sock to evenly distribute Lavender throughout the rice. Sock can be used as is or microwave to use warm.

This is such a good idea! I’ve done something similar in a pinch before when I had a headache and couldn’t find my heating pad (I warmed in the microwave).

I love making homemade pillows you can make the funnest quirkiest things that way but I never considered adding essential oils. I also use Dawn dish detergent for EVERYTHING… it’s like a giant like hack in a bottle!
