Family Mealtime is a Time for Connections

​Our family likes to cook and we like to cook together. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen and one of our favorite things to make is spaghetti or penne with tomato sauce.

There is something that I really love about dinner time as well. We are all together. For a few hours each night, it is just the five of us. My family cooks together and then eats together.

We catch up on our days. We share what is going on in our week. We may quiz the kids on upcoming tests in a fun way and we sometimes play games but we always have fun. Meal time is always about being together. We literally eat together every single night of the week. It is rare for us not to eat together and it is always at our kitchen table.
