Easy Thanksgiving Day Place Cards with Alphabits
We are a family of cereal eaters. All five of us love cereal. I could it for all three meals each day. My dad is a big cereal eater too so I grew up eating cereal.
But this time, our cereal really wasn't for eating. Instead, we got to play with our food and do a Thanksgiving Day craft. We made place cards out of the Alpha Bits letters.
Did you know that involving your child in making snacks and fun recipes with Alpha-Bits can be a bonding experience, as well as a learning moment? It really is true. My kids and I love doing crafts together. We bond and we have fun!

ALPHA BITS THANKSGIVING DAY PLACE CARDS CRAFT
We had some fun with our Alpha Bits and got to play with our food. We made place cards for everyone for our upcoming holiday gathering. This simple craft can be done with construction paper, glue sticks, paper plates and of course, Alpha Bits.
First you need to decide on a size. We cut our construction paper in half and then folded the half once again creating find a horizontal folded piece of construction paper.
Then we set out to find some letters in our cereal. I poured cereal onto four paper plates and wrote down all of the letters we needed to make our placecards. Then it took us about 10-15 minutes to find all of the letters we needed. We had to bite some shapes into pieces when we couldn't find a specific letter but they came out great! After finding the letters, we then used the glue stick on the letters rather than the paper.
You can even have some fun and put nicknames on the place cards as well.
