When shopping for candy each Halloween, Mars Halloween candy definitely tops my list.
One of the cool things about Halloween, at least for my husband and myself, is that we get a stash of mini candy bars for pretty much the next six months or so which is fabulous!

MY FAMILY AT HALLOWEEN
This year, we are all dressing up as various characters. I have tried to get my family to dress up together every year and I struggle to find some really cool costumes that we can all pull off. We start planning our costumes for the next year while we are trick or treating.
BEING SAFE THIS HALLOWEEN
Keeping safe during Halloween means taking a few precautions. We always carry flashlights with us every we go and even include glow sticks in all of our bags. Staying visible is key especially when wearing costumes and walking around at night.
We also check every single piece of candy before we eat anything. One of the cool things about Mars is that they have tons of variety bags of candy that are individually wrapped. I feel great about that as a parent.

Giving out wrapped candy is a good thing. Maybe next year you’ll get all your family to have matching costumes (but don’t hold your breath)
Love how you dress up as a family, how fun. Maybe next year you guys can dress up as Wizard of Oz characters, unless you have already done this. Thanks for sharing the cool recipes
