I am a wine lover. I have been for years. I love discovering new wines, sharing old favorites and really soaking up wine knowledge.

I was excited when the box arrived at our house. It was securely packaged and arrived in perfect condition. This month we were sent two wines from the Perry Creek Winery.

The Perry Creek Zinman is a a 2008 Zinfandel El Dorado that  is rated among the top 15 best-value Zinfandels by Wine Spectator in 2010. I am particularly fond of red zin's and this one did not disappoint. Fruity and full without being overbearing.

The Perry Creek Chardonnay is a delicious white wine from 2009 in California. I am a huge fan of Chardonnay and I always find white wine to be refreshing. This was crisp yet not at all heavy like some Chardonnays.

So far so good. We are thrilled with the wines this month and cannot wait for next month.
