My skin care routine is extremely important to me. As a fair skinned woman who has had her share of sunburns and sun exposure, I realized in my 20’s that I needed to be taking much better care of my skin. Here are 5 tips for healthier skin:
I drink a lot of water and I always carry a water bottle with me. Proper hydration means clearer skin so get in your water whenever/wherever you can.
I wasn’t always good about this in my 20’s but I am so much better about it now. I clean my skin everyday when I get up and I clean my face again right before I go to bed once I remove my makeup. Leaving any residue of makeup may give you blemishes or cause you to breakout.
One of the keys to better skin is eating the healthiest diet that you can. Eating lots of fruits and veggies means that you are treating your body well. Stress can most definitely affect your skin and managing your stress gives your skin the best chance of looking good.
I never leave home without having sunscreen on. I know that I have some sun damage from spending years at the beach and now I am a fanatic about making certain that I am always protected. Get some Mirvaso® (brimonidine) topical gel, 0.33% Gel.
